Offline Dogstar Launch Party

This is going to be the biggest party in town, with three rooms and two floors of non-stop fun to celebrate Offline's return to the Dogstar - with a sensational bill of 30+ samba drummers, go-go dancers, hip-hop, knees-up punk-folk and Ramones punk, plus a full cabaret bill with comedy and poetry, the legendary Craft Corner and a ton of top DJs. It's going to be busy, so get there early!

UEL Mayfest

Celebrate the joys of spring at Mayfest 08, featuring free performances and fresh artistic productions on the waterfront. An exciting programme of events includes an art fair, exhibitions, music, dance, poetry and theatrical performances, bringing together the work of professionals, students, school and community groups in a celebration of culture and creativity. The entertainment is on all day but Barking Bateria kicks off with an early evening show at 7:00pm

Video Manifesto

Barking Bateria join the line-up at Guanabara for a fundraising event in aid of Video Maifesto - a UK-based charity established in 2008 with the goal of opening a media training course in the slums of Rio de Janeiro by August of this year. The training courses will enable young people of the slums who have no hope for a higher education and therefore no chance to escape the poverty of their community, to gain skills, qualifications and future prosperity towards career opportunities.

Pride London Parade

Iden Fete

Barking Bateria will be back again at the annual summer fete in the lovely East Sussex villiage of Iden. Raffle, car boot sale, morris dancing a dog show and samba - what better way to spend a summer day!
