Barking Bateria practices every Thursday evening, University of East London Docklands campus, (which is at Cypress DLR station) between 7 and 9pm. All are welcome, though at each session we ask for a contribution of £2 to help cover our costs in terms of drum upkeep.

We welcome anyone to come along and join us, absolutely no experience of music or drumming nessecery!

We practice using a variety of nine different samba instruments and use the basis of Brazilian rhythms to blend our own unique style and sound, which varies from the tragitional samba reggaes to bhangra, jungle, funk and some traditional Benin sounds, and just the stuff we come up with while mucking about!

But we dont stop there! often we are also joined by various other instruments such as Bass Guitar, Trumpets, Trumbones, electronic music,...anything that anyone wants to contribute really.

So, what ever your experience, talent or interest, why not come along and join us?
